Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Media (PY Media) respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and message you type. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of the enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Your browser may store two small settings on your device: whether you have closed the cultural notice, and whether you turned page animation off. Nothing about that leaves your device.
Listening and watching
The live radio stream is served by First Nations Media Australia. Videos and audio recordings play only after you press play; at that point YouTube, Vimeo or SoundCloud may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. The map on the Communities page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap.
People in photographs, recordings and stories
PY Media publishes images, voices and names with the agreement of the people involved and their families. If you or your family want a photograph, a recording or a name removed from this website, contact us and we will act on it promptly. See the cultural notice.
